We were on vacation from Florida and staying 2 nights in Tralee. Royal India should be on your list to stop. Absolutely loved the lamb balti, spicy! We enjoyed the vegetable samosa appetizer and my wife had the chicken korma. Dylan did a great job serving us! If I'm back in Ireland I will be stopping back and hope to try the naan

We are here few times and the food goes better every time. Mixed grilled Sizzler was tough notch flavour full perfectly cooked juicy. I recommend to try. Royal Indian balti was other dish to catch

Fabulous food. Service was brilliant. It was quiet the night we ate here due to few days b4 Paddy's day but the amount of takeaways was unreal. Staff couldn't b more helpful. We will Definitely return to sample more dishes.

After seeing some of the comments I had to find out for myself being way into my Indian cuisines and well traveled.
The beer is fact cobra served in bottles if you so request them we didn't want glasses I had the chicken biryani and my husband had the madras we had the garlic nan and poppadoms was all fresh no mixed meats in it and the toilets were clean and fresh smelling place was busy and plenty take aways.

I'd return 4 sure prices very excessable.
Parking on site and family friendly toddler chair upon request I'd say they will expand soon!

Royal india is the nicest Indian I've ever had. I would normal only ever order a korma or a tikka masala, I have started to become more adventurous (because of recommendations from the owner) and ive never been disappointed with any dish. The restaurant was busy with tables all adhering to the social distance restrictions, and you could see that it was extremely busy with takeaway and deliveries. The service never faltered the waiter was so friendly and attentive and as always the food was impeccable. At the end of our meal the head chef / owner came out to check how our meal was. Which was such a lovely touch. I can't recommend royal india enough for takeaway or sit in. The standard of food never alters whether its takeaway or sit in. You can tell by the food that the chef has care and pride in everything he does.
